Cavendish Memorial Hall

The Cavendish Memorial Hall Management Committee has now been fully operational since the beginning of 2008. Its sole purpose is the raising of funds to enable improvements to be made to the Memorial Hall complex.

THE JUBILEE HALL

The work required to update the Jubilee Hall has now been completed thanks to Grants from Awards for All; Suffolk County Counciller, Jane Midwood and personal donations from villagers.

THE MEMORIAL HALL

There have been further improvements made to the Village Hall durin 2011. A new back door has been fitted in the kitchen which is much more in keeping with the architecture of the building and is also a ‘stable’ door design which allows half of it to be opened to improve ventilation in the kitchen.
Two new doors have also been fitted at the main entrance to replace the previous ones which were broken. The surrounds of the doors are now in a bad state and we will be renovating them in the next few weeks. The money for this has been raised thanks to the very well supported New Year’s Day walk.

FUNDING THE WORK

These projects are in part funded by Grants.

They also rely on donations.

Donations can be made to the Ambrose Memorial Hall Trust, which has been running for around 20 years; or to Cavendish Memorial Hall Management Committee.
We need your support.
