THE JUBILEE HALL
It has been decided that the priority project is the upgrade of the insulation and heating in the Jubilee Hall which
is currently used by the Pre-School.
Quotations for the work have been obtained: funds have been raised; instructions
given to contractors for the necessary upgrading of the Jubilee Hall, which will take place between 23rd July and 31st August
2008.
Pre School start again on 8th September.
It is hoped that there will be an Open day to enable all the village to see the
improvements made.
THE MEMORIAL HALL
The Management Committee are attempting to raise sufficient funds to improve the facilities in the Memorial Hall
We
have decided that apart from some small and very necessary repairs our first project will be the improvement of the kitchen
facilities.
We hope to have plans available over the summer when we will then seek quotations for the work.
Meantime the Hall remains available for hire.
