For many years now The Horticultural Society has held its Annual Show on the first weekend in September.
This
year in order to continue to have the Show on the same day as the Community Council Fete we have agreed to hold our
CENTENARY SHOW
on the 30th August.
During the last week in August up will go the Large Marquee,and on
30th August in will go all the exhibits of the contestants who have been growing their produce and flowers over the summer.
We will then be ready for our
CENTENARY HORTICULTURAL SHOW.
Lord Philips of Sudbury has kindly agreed to open our Centenary Show and to present the Prizes.

The Cavendish and District Horticultural Society has almost 70 members.
The Show attracts entries in all classes; Produce, Floral, and Artistic from members and non-members alike.
The entries are to a very high standard and judging is undertaken by RHS approved judges.
